When I first saw the interior of this home, I was immediately drawn to the wall of windows in the living area. The ‘wow factor’ of the sweeping staircase, the pristine condition of the hardwood floors, the clean cut character of the moldings, the spacious open floor plan. I thought to myself, “now, this is a home I could raise my family and spend countless hours entertaining.”
I can envision preparing and serving breakfast every morning in the large kitchen on those beautiful granite countertops and formulating my weekly meal plans. I can visualize where I’d place tiers of food for guests while entertaining and how I’d create the perfect tablescape for sit down dinner parties in the dining room.
With that enormously functional open floor plan, I can add numerous seats and tables to accommodate friends and family for holiday gatherings!
I can hear the pitter patter of the kids’ feet making their way down that grandiose staircase on Christmas morning and the tree strategically placed in the center of that wall of windows.
I can see my husband carving the Thanksgiving turkey at the kitchen island before guests arrive and I would finally have a space to myself in that front room of the house where I can write that book I’ve always wanted.
